First Ski of 09
So we went skiing on Christmas day. It was around 0 degrees but nice and clear. The skiing was rough as there wasn't a trail yet. I told Sharon that it was as bad as dragging out that elk. Which, by the way, is very tasty. We saw a bald eagle, some turkeys and of all things a wayward roadrunner. I have no idea what he/she was doing up at 9000' in two feet of snow. Maybe he was a snowrunner? Skiing the next day was better as the trail was broken. Still cold again though. We'll be heading up again for New Years and more skiing. I think I'll fire up the wood fired hot tub too. Later.

This is NOT Roberto...it is JAF, using his computer -- about as exciting as our lives get -- vs dragging elk out of the woods -- right now all we're looking forward to is dragging the Christmas tree to the curb. Hope we don't get a fine. Speaking of fine, all that activity must mean you two are looking that way! Katie is here and no one is plotting a kill yet.
ReplyDeleteWe're doing good. Lots of cross country skiing so far. Three day weekend coming up and a payday Friday to boot! You two should get out and do some skiing or some ice skating. It'll make you feel like a kid again.
